The pictures shows "Margit" loading/discharging paper in Baie Comeau, Canada and in Port Canaveral Fla. in '86, I was 2nd officer on board.

Medea M/S "Medea", Wallenius Lines, Stockholm
Combined Bulk- and Car Carrier, about 25000 t,DWT.  Buildt 1963 in Bremen, Germany. At the moment no further info available. If anyone knows about her later destiny please let me know. The pictures shows her 1973-1974 when I made my first turn at sea as Deckboy.

Shamrock M/S "Shamrock", Skeppsholmgården, Stockholm
Private sail training ship of "Skeppsholmsgården" Stockholm, Sweden. Buildt in Holland 1917 as a sailing trawler,
later sold to sweden as a coastal freighter. From 1969 training ship. I got my first contact with the Sea on her 1970 as apprentice. The picture was taken in dead calm at the Baltic Sea in the summer of '70.

Ven M/S "Ven" , Ventrafiken, Landskrona
Former harbour tugboat, later passenger Ferry between Landskrona and the island Ven in Öresund.
Buildt 1939 in Landskrona, Sweden. I spent a wonderful summer as replacement mate in her in the summer 1986.

On board the "Viola Gorthon" I spent my last years at sea, 1988-1992 , in short-trade traffic on the Baltic and the North Sea, not very inspiring but I had some very good years on board. The pictures are from '91 and shows her loading cars in Lübeck, Germany.
